PART ONE
There is a story I would love for you to hear. The story about the robber brothers, and when a young 22-year-old teen named Wilbur figured out the mystery of “Colby, The Kid Killer[cgy1] ”…with a little bit of help.
Wilbur grew up to be a 7-year-old boy, and he loved playing with his dad a lot. Whenever Wilbur’s dad was at war, Wilbur would weep and pray for his dad to be safe at war, and after 3 months, his dad would come back safely, and with some kind of bruise or injury. Wilbur would hug his dad and say, “I love you, Dad!”
Then 5 years later, when Wilbur’s dad went to war again after his dad’s and mom’s 10th anniversary celebration, Wilbur’s dad didn’t come back after 7 months. Wilbur thought it was just something urgent for his dad to do, until Squad C called, and said that Wilbur’s dad had died of a major disease called cancer (Of course you already know about it). Wilbur cried and cried and Mother tried to comfort Wilbur for a week, because he was so sad. Then Mother thought of a solution and Wilbur and she went to the Iraq Squad C graveyard. They went to Freddy’s tomb (Wilbur’s dad), and Mallory (Wilbur’s mom) put flowers onto the tomb. Wilbur kissed the tomb and said, “Goodbye, Dad.” He cried and put his head inside Mallory’s arms.

PART TWO
2 years later, Wilbur moved to a new school, and Mallory got a job. Wilbur was 14, and was going to seventh grade, where the meanest kids in class went. But Wilbur was nice. He wouldn’t. He couldn’t!!! But he should…for his dad.
Wilbur went to his 14-15 year old class. The teacher did look nice.
“I’m Ms. Plumburg,” said the teacher, and she wrote her name on the chalkboard. “Today we are going to introduce ourselves to our new student…”
“I hope it’s another dork,” whispered one of the kids to the other.
“…Mr. Wilbur Peterson,” Ms. Plumburg continued. “Come over here please, Mr. Peterson.” Wilbur walked to the chalkboard and Ms. Plumburg.
Colby, the one that said the new student was gonna be another dork, he finally said, “JACKPOT!!!”, but too loud.
“Mr. Colby Newton, what is going on?” yelled Ms. Plumburg.
“I was…” stammered the boy, “…happy that we…um…have a new student, so I said, ‘JACKPOT!’” He sweated, and thought Ms. Plumburg would never believe him again.
“Hallway…now!” said Ms. Plumburg, being very upset. “We’re trying to introduce ourselves to Mr. Peterson, now zip your lips and get out!!!”
Colby Newton ran into the hallway, but actually, he was happy, because he was going to escape, but then he ran into the principal.
“Where do you think you’re going in such a hurry?” he said, looking confused.
“I’m going to…um…” said Colby Newton, thinking of a way to escape. “I’m getting a juice at the vending machine before lunch,” he finally said, looking at the cafeteria’s juice vending machine.
“Before lunch?” said the principal, very confused. “But it’s only 8:15am. Come on, I’ll lead you back to your room,” he added, leading Colby back to his room, but then Colby ran the opposite direction and quickly said to the principal, “Laters,” and he ran out of the school and into the front entrance.
“Emergency! Emergency!” said the principal, speaking in his walkie-talkie. “Mr. Colby Newton has escaped the school!!! Repeat, Mr. Colby Newton has escaped the school!!!”
“That sicko,” said Ms. Plumburg, steaming mad. “I’ll have him suspended for this, I tell you. I’LL HAVE HIM SUSPENDED!!!”
“Don’t worry, Pam,” the principal said to Ms. Pam Plumburg. “We’ll have him suspended as soon as we catch him.” He called the police, and Ms. Plumburg looked at Wilbur and smiled. “It’s OK, Wilbur. We’re safe. Now let’s continue class.”
15 minutes later, Colby was finally home…with no parents around. His plan finally worked, and saw his boys.
“Guys,” said Colby, “Plot A is successful.”
“Well, not really,” said Amos, one of Colby’s people, and a big 13-year-old. “Sam forgot to leave the school when you left.”
“That darn Sam,” said Colby. “I want him off the team! Who’s with me?”
Nobody raised their hands.
“You puke faces!!!” said Colby. “I said…WHO’S WITH ME?!!”
Suddenly everybody raised their hands. They looked scared, but the one who looked more nervous was an 11-year-old boy named Edward Jameson. He shook, and he sweated.
“Edward?” said Colby. “I want no shaking or sweating on MY team!” yelled Colby.
Edward was very, very NERVOUS!!!
“EDWARD!!!” hollered Colby. “I want you off the team, you idiot!!! Who’s with me?”
Nobody ever raised their hands.
“WHO’S WITH ME, YOU FREAKS???!!!” yelled Colby, steaming mad.
Everybody raised their hands, feeling nervous, again.
“Good,” said Colby. “I don’t want all you idiots to be eliminated.” He pointed at Edward. “Edward!!!” Colby added. “Over here.”
Edward walked to Colby, and Colby said, “Allow me to kill you with my saber tooth boots.” He laughed maniacally, and stepped on Edward. He laughed harder, and harder. Colby was a kid killer…and nothing would stand in his way to kill the…dorks!!!
END OF PART TWO
PART THREE
Wilbur went back to the house after school by walking. He was smiling and he smelled the nice air outside. “Isn’t walking so much fun?” Then a kid that looked like he was 14-years-old [cgy3] too ran past Wilbur.
“Watch out,” said the kid. Then Wilbur saw a familiar boy from his class…Colby Newton[cgy4] .
“Out of my way, you freak,” he hollered, pushing Wilbur out of the way. “I’ve got a dork to catch.” Colby ran off, along with 6 other boys who looked nice but had to work for Colby. “Every man for himself,” said a person from the gang. He was talking to Wilbur.
“What do you mean?” said Wilbur, confused. The kid tip-toed over to Wilbur, so Colby wouldn’t hear.
“Colby is a killer,” the kid whispered.
“Seriously?” said Wilbur puzzled and scared.
“Yeah,” whispered Amos, the 13-year-old teen. “He killed one of our gang this morning, and Colby got suspended, because he escaped. It was supposed to be a plot he made…to escape the school and kill one of our gang.” He pointed to the kid running. “That kid running…that’s another one of our gang. His name is Sam.”
“Sam, huh?” said Wilbur, still puzzled. “He looks like a nice kid.”
“He is,” said Amos, “but Colby hired him on purpose when Sam didn’t want to take the job. We all didn’t.”
Wilbur was still very puzzled. “He wants to kill Sam because he didn’t leave the school on time with Colby, so that’s why he’s trying to catch Sam,” said Amos, continuing, and then added quietly, “and kill him with his saber-tooth sharp boots…”
Wilbur was scared. He didn’t want to join the team, too. He ran off to the direction where his school was, and when he got there, he saw papers outside the front entrance. It said, “Colby Newton Escapes the School!!!” He took a paper, and ran home to show his mother the news.
As he got home, he quickly said, “Look, look, look! The School News!”
Mallory looked at the paper, and read, “‘Local police say that Colby Newton killed a young 11-year-old boy named Edward Jameson. Approximately 13 people say they saw it for real. They call this suspect, ‘The Kid Killer.’’” She gasped and looked at Wilbur. “That is horrible!!!”
Wilbur nodded in agreement. He knew about “The Kid Killer”, because the Killer was really…a killer!!! [cgy5]
PART FOUR
8 YEARS LATER
Wilbur was 22-years-old. He got the job to be a detective. Colby was still trying to chase Sam off the team, after 8 years!!!
Wilbur went to the City Hall the next morning. “I can prove that Colby Newton is a killer!” he yelled, as he pounded on his boss’s table.
“Can you prove it now?” said the boss.
Then Wilbur pulled out a piece of paper with writing on it from his pants pockets.
“I got this eight years ago,” he said, “and they say Newton killed an eleven-year-old boy named Edward Jameson.” The boss looked at the paper looking very suspicious at the picture of Colby.
“That’s some proof,” said the boss, “but Mr. Newton has been lead off with a warning already. He hasn’t been killing anybody for years. He feels like he’s been tired enough trying to chase off…um…”
“…another one of his gang,” Wilbur interrupted. “He hasn’t been killing anybody else for years, because he’s too busy chasing a person named Sam Nichols.”
“Sam Nichols, eh?” thought and also said the boss. “How do you know all about this?”
“I’ve been following Mr. Newton and his big scheme, but 3 years ago I watched him poop[cgy6] on accident, but that’s another story.”
The boss was puzzled when Wilbur said he was following Colby Newton for all these years, but he was more puzzled that Wilbur accidentally watched him poop. He fainted. Well, almost. Wilbur caught him before he fell to the ground.
“Thank you, Mr. Peterson,” said the boss, “and I’ll be seeing you sometime soon.” As Wilbur walked out, the boss finally thought, Very soon. He thought Wilbur was weird.
This story is continued on Book Two of Colby’s Plot….
